Mario joined Texas A&M University in 2001. He holds a Masters of Law in Business, Taxation, and Transnational Practice from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. As the Assistant Dean of Faculties and Chief of Staff he is responsible for directly assisting and providing the necessary recommendations to the Dean of Faculties and Associate Provost as it relates to faculty hiring processes, risk and compliance matters, policy review, development and implementation, HR matters, business plans, processes and procedures, and any other matters as required by the Dean of Faculties and Associate Provost. He is also responsible for overseeing the operational area of Faculty Administration and Records as well as all facets of the daily operations of the office ensuring compliance with System policies, regulations and rules. In addition, he is responsible for directing the University's nonimmigrant and immigrant faculty, scholar, and staff employment caseload, including the Galveston and Qatar campuses, and providing assistance to 18 Texas A&M University System members (universities and agencies) regarding immigration employment matters.

Erin began working for Immigration Affairs in 1997 after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Texas A&M in 1996.  As Assistant Director, she provides guidance to TAMU and its system members on employing foreign nationals.  Additionally, she is responsible for Immigration Affairs forms and website maintenance.

Shilpa has worked for Immigration Services for Faculty & Scholars at Texas A&M University since 2006.  She is responsible for advising departments, international scholars, and international employees on many aspects of immigration regulations that affect employment and legal status.

Sahar received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, and her Master’s degree in Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Austin (LBJ School of Public Affairs). Sahar really enjoys meeting and assisting foreign employees and scholars from around the world. She is happy to share not only her knowledge of employment- based immigration regulations and processes, but also about life in Aggieland and Texas.
